My name is Jessica, hence the old title {Jessicas Doodles} and thats where the {JD} comes from in our new title. I have been interested in art and drawing and creative development since childhood. I come by it naturally as my mother, father, aunts & grandmother are all artistic in some way.

I recieved my computer savvy from my father, bless him, he knew a long time ago that computers would be important in our world and brought one into our home way before they were a common household item. He'll always be my number one PC teacher.

I began creating digital graphics late in 2006 and my first digital program was Paint Shop Pro 7. I started out slow, giving up and then starting again. I just could not get the graphic fever out of my system and I was burning to learn how to bring my creative imaginings to life on my computer. I have had plenty of frustrating moments in my journey, but I can be stubborn and I knew that I could figure it out, I refused to believe that I couldn't. Eventually I upgraded to Paint Shop Pro 8 and now to PSP X2.

Last year, 2008, I took a step that I've been meaning to take for 10 years. I enrolled in College. I am currently attending classes online at Westwood College Online for my BA in Visual Communications. I am learning new programs, mainly the graphic and multimedia programs offered by Adobe. My new favorite programs are Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop. I feel like a new artist with my new tools and my creativity has blossomed with my new knowledge.

Besides going to school, I am currently employed by djdoodle.com, designing and compiling graphics for the company ezine, Rusty Tin Roof, as well as any other website graphics, advertising promotions or single clipart needs the company needs.

What you can expect from me and my business is quality graphics. I make everying in no less than 300 dpi. And you can expect satisfaction, because I keep working until you are happy with your graphics. I am a person who evolves, and I am constantly learning new tricks, having new ideas and I am inspired by everything, so don't be shocked to see Modern & Trendy mixed up with Country and Primitive. I like both, and I refuse to pick a side, so whatever your flavor, I've got you covered!
